"Maurice River Diner isn't really a diner at all, but actually a pretty good restaurant. They don't have the typical expansive diner menu, but a good selection which does include breakfast any time of the day. They've got really great coffee and desserts, and huge portions like you would expect at a diner. But their food is way above par for a "diner." My favorite menu item is zucchini stuffed with crab meat. They always have real vegetables (not just applesauce, french fries and baked potato) available as side dishes. The service is always very good as well. The restaurant has got a fabulous chic design to it and is always immaculately clean. The manager is very proud of his restaurant and was happy to give my husband and I a tour of their (recently remodeled) kitchen. And they also don't get mad when my little monsters drop food all over the floor. I always feel guilty because the place is so clean, but they aim to please families and will holler at you if you try to clean up after your kids. " - Joy G.
